ABOUT

Initially founded by Philippe Bismuth and Vincent Amiaux on the Rive Droite in Paris in 1998, the Galerie des Modernes first specialised in French master paintings dating from 1910–1940, before expanding their range to include the whole of the twentieth century. Located in the Carré Rive Gauche since 2012, the gallery opened a new 100 m² split-level space at 13 rue des Saint-Pères in the 6th arrondissement in 2016. Since the end of 2023, the gallery has been managed solely by Vincent Amiaux. Here, they present carefully selected paintings, drawings and sculptures by artists connected with the most important modern art movements. The Galerie des Modernes is a member of the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d'Art (CPGA).
